Hello people,

Those who can make it, outing is on the 17th December at East Coast Park C,D (forgot which one)
Anyway, you just find Carpark C2, which is near McDonald's. You guys don't know how to go there, take bus number 135 and ask the uncle whether it is going towards Victoria Junior College. Because.... the place where we are gonna be is just opposite Victoria Junior College. But you will still need to walk a little bit further. It's okay (: Treat is as a workout :D HERURGHH!!
Anyway, bring extra cash if you want to rent the bikes, bring extra clothes if you want to play in the waters. Bring a frisbee, ball, whatever if you have. Try to bring it or else it might be boring there if you don't want to ride a bike or swim. If you think you might be hungry during the event, or you just wanna spread the joy of giving since Christmas is coming, bring along a little snack like a bag of chips or a bottle of soda or something.

Class-tee issue

to the main topic of why i am posting today.
it's not really random but it's about class-tee! (:

so, our actual design is black, non-collar with stripe. and the designs are blending in to the background, black.

so now, the problem is, the colours of the shirts that are non-collar are either red and blue which totally have no link with our designs. but, we have an alternative, is to change it to collar shirts. but, we will not have the stripes anymore. although the stripes are gone, our designs blends in well into black, which is only available with collar. so i think you somehow can understand what i am typing about. (:

any feedback or suggestion of the class-tee, please dun hesistate and tag it in the tagboard. (: thanks alot! (:

The class bbq photos will be out soon! I'm pestering Margaret for them xD Ohoh, then maybe I shall post pictures from 8th October.

It was superrrr cool. We watched Eagle Eye at j8. Then went to bugis. :) We took one entire row in the cinema, and the row in front of us were occupied by 1E4 people! :D Muaha. Unity. :DDD

And class bbq and Chen Lao Shi's house was cooool. :D Had great fun there. Whooo. Gonna miss e4 to the effffing shit man.

Oh yea. People, post up ideas for fundraising. It's our CIP thing btw, if you still don't know. LOL xD Jasmine's come up with cupcakes. & I'm totally drawing a blank.

Oh yeah, if we're having the fund raising event, I will suggest we do cupcakes!
Every one pays $1.50 first and then we'll return you back from the profit earned!

Beware of Longkangs

Yo people, that's my advice of the day

I fell into those puny little drains yesterday and nearly twisted my ankle. Nearly.
I suffered like...4-5 blood clots around my legs and hands =.= Gosh.
The metal just gave way and my leg got stuck between the metal and the concrete like a leg-o-sandwich. Had to remove my shoes before I could get my leg out and spent like 20mins pulling my shoes from the clutches of the drain.

So yeah, note to self: Metal drain covers ain't strong; they break like some flimsy thing.

Okay. Here's the format for our Science paper. It's already pinned up on the class noticeboard. But I'll just type it here so you guys won't have to copy it out again.

Topics tested:

Chapter 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 11.
Supplementary Topics : Chemical Formula & Balancing Equations.

Exam: 2 hours.

Section A (30 Marks) : 30 MCQ Questions
Section B (30 Marks) : Short answer structured questions
Section C (40 marks) : 4 structured questions
(Including a graph question of 10 marks)

For each section, 50% will comprise of Physics questions and 50% will comprise of Chemistry questions.

Things to bring:

- Relavant stationery (including 2B pencil and eraser), calculator, curved ruler.

Absence from exams:

What is the big hype:
There's been lots of news about that the earth is coming to an end in 2012, due to the Mayan prohecy. Why Mayan you may ask, this is because there has been news that the Mayan has made some predictions a few thousand years ago that came true i.e 911 incident.
In 2012, the Mayan long count calender shall end and people says it signifies the end of the world, mankind, everything.

So I did a little search and found that this is based upon the Mayan Long Count calender.

This is for those that haven't seen the 16 baby pandas. SICHUAN , China -- One zoo in southwest China has its hands full with 16 baby pandas.The Sichuan Wolong Panda Protection and Breed Center is dealing with the results of a breeding boom where 16 pandas have been born. The brood includes five sets of twins. The cubs are weighed and measured every five days (see pics)The heaviest tips the scale at just over 24 pounds, while the lightest weighs about 11 pounds. The pandas are due to stop suckling soon - just about the time they'll start learning to walk. Once weaned, the panda cubs will attend panda kindergarten. In the meantime, more little ones are expected at the centre since 38 giant pandas were artificially impregnated.

for number 3, of course we'd be adding more names of ingredients/self-created things inside. also suggestions for it? i think the idea's kinda funny :X

currently the bottom left design is same... if i have more inspiration i shall come up with another design/pure design-based tee. againnn, you guys are all welcome to post your own designs for the front, and also suggestions and improvements for all three tees. (btw, the copyright sign wont be in the real thing luh.) [[dimensions are 800 px by 800px 72dpi.. but i guess they're drafts only?]] also, the designs will be like, e.g., you're holding up the class shirt, front facing you, without folding it or anything, like someone is wearing it, and facing you, thus that bottom left design, will be at the bottom left of the tee. if im making this confusing, then forget it, its okay :x

hey people :D, onemanga.com is nice, (since jasmine recommended some too)i recommend this one;uzumaki kufufufu. its a cool story. its kinda scary but not really, most of it is black and white, as in like, 3-5pages per sometimes is coloured only? and its cool la. read it :@ (p.s. it has to do with spirals) and i dont know the rating but theres some gore kinda thing. like, the scariness depends on you though :/

anyway, the solution is:
the three people paid $10 at first, $30 is at the clerk, $0 at the three guy, $0 at the bellhop.

then the clerk took out $5 gave to the bellhop, so the clerk has $25, bellhop $5, 3people $0.

the bellhop then gave $3 away to the 3 people, so the clerk has $25, bellhop $2, 3people $3

so now, presently, they sort of, paid $9 each.

$9 x 3 = $27, which is actually what the clerk has and the bellhop has. so 27-2 = 25
and there is no missing dollar. all the $30 is there, and there is no need to 27 + 2, the $2 is already included in that $27. to make it simple, $3 from the three guys and $2 from the bellhop then plus $25 from the clerk = $30.

example, you bought books and it cost you $8, you paid $10, so the person shall give you $2, meaning 27-2 not 27+2 xD

theres another but its harder to write out though x.x

Hoho, just a mini random riddle thingy thingy. I was bored and this is random.&Im sure some of you have heard of it though. o.o

3 people went into a hotel, and one room there costs $30. Each of the three pay $10 for the room. They proceed up. The clerk then realizes it's Monday, and rooms cost only $25 on Mondays. So the clerk gives the bellhop $5 to take back to the 3 people. The bellhop cant decide how to split $5 between 3 people, so he keeps $2 for himself and gives the 3 people each $1.

Each person spent $9 on the room eventually, and the bellhop took $2.

(9 x 3)+ 2 = 29

What happened to that extra dollar?

Heh. I wanted to post about the new class timetable. I guess someone's faster than me. LOL.

Well, it may have been strong class spirit. But then again, I believe that it's unfair that we didn't get to participate in the girls 4x100m relay. I admit that it was partially fault on our part that we could have been more efficient in getting ourselves prepared though we tried our best. But then, they should have waited, and probably, have more communication between each officials during that race.

Shermaine's injury was sudden, and we tried our best to cover it up. We wanted to join in the race as how the other class' runners would have wanted to. So why couldn't they understand? Problems do surface here and there sometimes right?

I'm not trying to push the blame to anyone here, I just felt that we could have joined in the race. We could have.
We didnt' wanna quarrel about this issue cause we knew that both parties were at fault. But the worst thing, was that none of the officials came up to us to explain.

None of them.

Sports day~

Sports day is the day meant to be joyous, hyper and exciting. >.> But I don't feel anything like that for our school's sports day. Firstly, we have no free milo or drinks(other schools have that!). Secondly, the amplifier thing was at our class area and I guess I'm 60% deaf now. Lastly, it was really a neck breaking and butt-sore experience.

HOWEVER, great, huge class spirit of 2e4 was displayed today, from our class's representatives! Even though we didn't come in first place, the runners have tried and it's the best reward for every e4 kiddos in our class. Also, I would say that I had no idea that Yingjie had such scarily strong class spirit, which I supposed everyone should learn from xDDD. PSL Yingjie, just smile and everything will be alright! Oh and Shermaine, hope you feel better soon!
