Reflection on E-learning DayI feel that using the Internet as a tool for teachers to give us homework is definitely a good idea. In the future, when technology gets more advanced, we may only need to go to school for a few days in a week! For now, there had been a few problems with some of the functions at the school's website. However, they were solved, and the surveys which seemed to be problematic, wasn't so, actually.
However, there may be sudden problems connecting to the Internet, and students might not know how to solve them. Especially since this year's E-learning day falls on Friday, and most of the homework must be handed in on Monday. There could be the possibility that the Internet might have worked well until Saturday, but the student might not have completed all of his homework on Friday. They might not be able to get someone to fix it, or even if they could, if the problem was quite a serious one, then the computer might be sent away to be repaired for a few days, or even weeks.
I think that E-learning helps us to relax more, in a more comfortable environment, but at the same time, we would still be able to complete the assigned homework given. We could listen to music, and chat with our friends. It is not distracting, and in fact, helps us, as I feel that most of us concentrate better with music being played.
However, some of the disadvantages are that, there would be lesser contact with our teacher, we would not be able to ask them questions, and if we were to ask our friends, they might not know as well, and if we do not complete the homework, the teacher would scold us, or if we just tried it, the teacher might ask whether did we do the work seriously, or "anyhow" do it.
This year's E-learning Day has been a successful one, and next year's, definitely a superb one too.
